NIHON NO SWITCH - Mainichi Newspaper | |
|---|---|
| 'Nihon no Switch' was a collaboration project with Mainichi Newspaper in Japan, as an experiment on ways to use mobile phones as a device to collect public opinions. Every morning, you were sent 8 questions on your mobile. 'Yes and No' responses would be tallied and the results would be posted in the evening newspaper. The questions would vary from topical politic debates to whether or not you used sauce on your fried eggs. A book has been released with the results gathered from it's beginning in 2002 through to 2007. The service is still running, and has an average of 40,000 participants each time. | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
